You've still got Post #111 to contend with.

@Rumo75: Out of curiosity, what after 1.Qd4 h5 2.e4 Qd7? For instance 3.e5 Qxf5 4.exf6 Qxf6 5.Qxd5 Qc6. In the position after Qd7 can Black recapture the pawn with the queen, is he threatening the white knight and when the knight retreats to e3 - lifting the pressure on g7 - then can Black play dxe4.

In contrast to two given earlier, this one is also a contender

Here is how the game finished:
Classical tactical trap at the end involving the second push guaranteeing one of your pawns to promotion.

It's been a while, and this was a good thread. I think it's worth reviving. Here's my latest: a deep double-piece sacrifice. http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1250951822#

So, for all who care to read, this thread is about exactly what the title says: have you ever played a !! move? What’s the closest you’ve come? What’s the most impressive tactical or positional sequence of your career?

edit - sorry black doesn't resign, white does. Silly me. I'm black and I'm crushing.
nice last move!
