Until move 13, where White is lost anyway, this is Knorre - Chigorin, played at St. Petersburg 1874. I'm pretty sure you were aware of this, so this goes to show that good opening knowledge actually helps. It would have been nice to mention this game in the game analysis, though ;)

Yes, Most definitely. This Variation has been used hundreds of times, I'm told. One recent, tourney version( which I annoyingly can't find) went as such;
