A tough game, my opponent played very well and gave me a good challenge.

good game! i wouldn't have thought of sacrificing that much...

Nice, you gave a few chances to wiggle out, but when you finally set the hook it was nasty.  Nice c5 bishop post.

rednblack

exciting game.  Very fun to watch unfold.  I'm not at a point where I can drop material like that, but good job on showing how it's done.

Torkil

Yes, a very nice game indeed - a  classic so to speak.

Until move 13, where White is lost anyway, this is Knorre - Chigorin, played at St. Petersburg 1874. I'm pretty sure you were aware of this, so this goes to show that good opening knowledge actually helps. It would have been nice to mention this game in the game analysis, though ;)

tarikhk

very similar to this game. I assume you'd seen it. Very well done for improvising! sharp, amazing tactical, cut-throat game.

DCCLM

This game shows that you have some deep knowledge on opening theory. Good game, fun to watch.

artofbass

good game, Mr Spock would have smiled! lol

 Yes, Most definitely. This Variation has been used hundreds of times, I'm told. One recent, tourney version( which I annoyingly can't find) went as such;

edit: This game was not neal_58 and check2008. PGN mistake by me.

Woah brilliant traps here. Definitely have to try this one against one of my victims...

Phenomenal. Just beautiful.
