What a shocker!
I'm horrible at blitz, there's no way I could have played that well in time pressure. : )
I was also kind of surprised he fell for it, but then again it took me several minutes of analysis to see it, just because I was looking for a draw and not such a simple mate. I'm sure he was just too focused on the pawn and moved without considering how his rook's placement affected the King's space.
Any comments on potential improvements are more than welcome. I had the game mostly annotated, but accidentally closed the window. I may rewrite them later.
