Isn't this a great game against an 1800?

Nice win! Hitting 500 points above your rating is definitely an accomplishment. Your Ng5 move really put the nail in the coffin. I also thought recapturing the bishop with your f-pawn instead of the Queen was important, so as to disincentivize f5 from Black and take control of the f-file yourself. In these setups, I tend to like playing the move h3 to preface any sort of Be3, so that I don't lose the bishop pair. Then, Qd2 and Bh6 is thematic idea to trade the dark-square bishops and expose Black's weaknesses on the kingside. Maybe also consider opposite-side castling in these tactical pirc/modern systems.

Imo, anything below 3000 is a beginner.

Including you. chess, if solved is a drawn game, BUT Alphazero makes mistakes and loses to stockfish sometimes. We still have a long way to go.

I can finally compete with the "elite" and have a chance

Remember, anything could happen!

Anyway, I got a 97 accuracy on this game. Fluke? Luck?

Whatever it was I am proud of this achievement. Anyway, I'll be much happier if I can continue beating dem "elites".

Congratulations, here is a nice game I played today in TCEC:

ur not stockfish because stockfish is international!

I suggest refining your setup slightly with 5 be2, 6 00 7 h3 before committing the other bishop. One typical plan when black plays e5 is to take on e5. Now, if the bishop is on e3, you could play qc1 and have ideas like bh6 or rd1.

OK, thanks!
