considering that ke2 is the only move that doesn't hang stuff, I'd say it's pretty obvious it's the best move

i mean black has no ways of getting at the white king, his pieces are all on the back rank

The only piece that is active from black is queen. And compared to that, most of the pieces of white are mobilised. What can a lonely queen do to whites king. White has enough resources for defense and counter attack.

Yup, calculations and being strong at visualization is literally all that's needed unless u are a very strong player 

it only took me a few seconds. 

I calculate very little in blitz and bullet. In rapid I only calculate a few moves ahead. I mostly try to evaluate the resulting structure.

And in classical you calculate your head off lol
