This is a game that i played years ago when i was playing regular  O.T.B. tournament against i higher rated player in this game and had the advantage for alot of this game i felt, but i tried to  hard to win after i missed the winning plan instead of going for the draw i could easily see. Because i had the better position so i thought and i ended up giving him back the initive. So the lesson is dont try to hard to win if  the position isnt clearly won that you can see the victory or just like me u might lose instead....Cool

Yes I agree.

You almost played a very good game, 7...a6 was not a good move, and you punished it very well.

Don't agree with your lesson really. If you draw lots of games, this will effect your rating in a poor way. Also learn more by trying to win. Of course it is easy to say things like this, but harder to do.

I have found out a  from a few games  i played that sometimes the win isnt there and if u go looking for a win that isnt there u will lose a game that other wise might have been drawable. Thats what i was trying to get at anyway hahahaha...Cool
