No, but it was my best win, as in highest ranked opponent that I've beaten. I've had lots better games, but winning agianst an even less skilled opponent than myself isn't worth bragging about.
Loomis- Yeah, when I was looking through the game I saw that too, but forgot to add that to my commentary.

or clever deciption? I may have purposefully played the openeing and middle game crappilly on purpose, to lull my opponent into a state of overconfidence, but probably not. Either way, this is my best win yet.
I used to play often as a teen on my old 286/12, with a 2400 baud modem on the old dial up bulletin boards. I can't say I've ever been very good, nor have I ever been taught any formal strategies. I just play for fun, and only picked it back up after a 15 year hiatus becuase my son got a Transformers chess set for Christmas.
