Sporadically been playing chess on chess.com. Blitz 1700-1800, bullet a bit higher. Decided to join a real life tournament, first one was back in 2018. Received a FIDE rating of 1401 back then.
Played this guy OTB, 90 min 30 sec time controls. I played white. His rating was 1747.
Was winning most of the game and, made some shabby blunders and lost the game.
Guess my ~1400 OTB rating will stick with me for quite a while hehe.
I'd say chess.com ratings correspond to way less in otb FIDE.
