Post the rest of the game please!

The game is still underway as it is in an online chess game, not live. So we shall wait and see.

Ah! Good luck! By the looks of your tactical brilliancy, I'd say things should end up in your favor!

"its go time!"

=)

Dakota_Clark

haha. thanks shuttle. I'm glad it made you smile.

and to joey, thanks for the endearing compliment of "brilliant" but keep in mind that though this combo was cleverly deep, it wasn't a sure-fire thing. I took quite a risk with it and was lucky to come out on top. I haven't done too much analyzing so far, but I'm sure at grandmaster play, there were better moves to be played in the exchange.

I was being a little facetious, in the same vein as your "beautiful combo of preconceived majesty" comment. But it was still a nice combo.

Dakota_Clark

hee hee. I love speaking with epic forthcomings.

20. Rxe5 seems to lead to a healthy white advantage.

A great example element of the eluded "gamble" that I took. With this decision, I took into account the "psyche" of a typical chess player as well as in tandem with that of my particular opponent. He hadn't exactly been the attack-y type, ie. thrusting a rook trade in my face, nor do I think that this would be the first looked-at line of any player at his level. Nevertheless, it still was absolutely not a force, and I'm pretty "lucky."

Mr. monk, God was with you for that combo.
