5...Ng4 I will have to check that one out I only play d5. An excellent result for Short given the first game setback with the white pieces.

yes 5...Ng4 is ok, what about 7....Qxd6 would it be better to develop a piece instead Bxd6 ?
N-g4 is well playable, I guess Short wanted to avoid the main lines with d5 expecting some thing prepared by his opponent
