what about 19... Qc8? would be 1 knight + 1 bishop behind but possible playable

your opponent(s) play relatively rare openings. 1st, Qd8 is a slow line on the Scandinavian, and in game 1 Semi-Slav Isolated Pawn is not superb or anything when he was slow in development. Also in game 2 fianchettoing his bishop with Nf6 and e6 is not safe.

 

P.S. I'm not a critic, but I do want to point out some points. Great sacrifice on 2nd game!

these are all 1 minute game, at our levels of rating, openings hardly have too much of a significance.
