Isn't this queen's gambit declined? and good game, unusual way to play QGD. it's been a while since i saw one of these. I should play it time to time.

I don't really like 4. cxd5, that is just my personal preference. I play QG a lot, and I prefer to stick to 4. Bg5 and develop from there. Again, just my personal opinion.

I don't get what you mean. It's called "declined" because you decline to take the pawn.

It's the Exchange Variation. It is probably the best Exchange Variation in Chess that isn't boring. This is one of the games every player that plays the Exchange Variation needs to know below
