Not true. First, it was not a real game. 

Second, there are far older sources of chess positions and games. It may claim to be the oldest using modern rules for bishops and queens.

Isn't this like showing a drawing of the first human? The point being its evolved so much there was no "first human" the same as there was no "first chess game" because the game wasn't defined.
