Kind of... and he underestimated your chances to put an effective attack on the king side.
But he was raigh to try to force the issue on the queen side once you castled long.
See.. it would have been interesting, with chances to win if you placed your knight on g5, on the move 17, after he retreated his dark sq bishop.
The most bizarre thing was black's 21. - c5 move. What was that all about? Instead of taking the e6 rook, he just did nothing and now the position would be just equal again after the obvious 22. Ree1.
The next few moves followed in similarly absurd fashion, and suddenly on move 25 white was winning, not black. Very weird game.

I guess he wanted to crush me with his pawns and promote (which he eventually did)
