Post your Best Miniatures here Part 2

Good player and good game. I just kind of felt bad for the guy though....
I ran into this same g5 line in a blitz game a few days ago. I tried h4, and after gxh4 followed up with f4. White gets a pretty good game, but black tried a crazy knight sac and as usual I screwed up in time pressure. Still, I think it's an interesting game......…
Yes, this is a very sharp variation of play by black that white seems to have a hard time to defend once engaged. It is very interesting indeed.

Although this game lasted 39 moves, Black had a decisive advantage by move 25 so I'm offering the first 25 moves of the game. White's errors seem to be small positional concessions and the failure to find an effective plan. Black's pieces somehow became better coordinated and he launched a successful kingside attack.

This was a Bullet game I played, so it has lots of wild and crazy moves and positions, missed checkmates, etc... but in the end it was a sweeeeet checkmate!

Quite surprising that anyone playing the Philidor Defense doesn't know the Opera Game by heart but at the very least knows to avoid this mate in 2.
I agree, although I played almost the same game over the board once, when my opponent played 7...b6 and I played the same mate in 2. He was about 1500, although over 70 years old. 7...Qe7 is the right move of course.
