You're Paul Morphy? I thought he was dead.

Sure. But the thread is titled "Post YOUR best miniatures... so if you post a game without indicating who played it, people will assume that it's yours.

So the Game is not over yet? Why post it then? Are you looking for comments here? That is illegal. why did you post this incomplete game?

This one is dedicated to people who hate king's gambit as black (like me!!)

Nice job Colin! King's gambit is fun to play from both sides in my opinion. I almost always accept, and then try to hold onto the pawn with either 3... g5 or Nf6, or play the Bryan countergambit (3... b5) in the event of 3. Bc4. It makes for wild and crazy games sometimes, but as long as you're brushed up on your tactics, you should come out on top most of the time!

Nice game colin! But I like the KG! =)

I got the dream line out of the Ulvestad variation of the two knights defense today. Lovely. happy.png

Does anyone have Sicilian Dragon miniature that they played and want to share? I'm writing a book on that variation on the Sicilian and maybe you want your game to be published? wink.png

This Bullet game demonstrates the power of connected passed pawns.

I had a very interesting game which began as a Scandinavian Defense, transposed into Blackmar-Diemer Gambit, and continued on to the Hari-Kari line, in an all out fight for dominance where my opponent cracked under a combination of board and time pressure (3 mins +2  secs time control). It's a bit over a proper mini at 29 moves, but I feel like it embodies the spirit all the same.

26 moves, but a nice finish that makes this game almost a miniature.

Sweet! Black could have resigned just before the checkmate though And that would make it a miniature.

Nice Ziryab. I wonder if while playing the slav black has a way to activate his white squared bishop quickly and safely.

That's the essential problem for players of the Slav and the French.
