Post your best miniatures here
In this Blitz game I lost material after overpressing in a complex tactical position but played energetically to make up for it.

Here is 2 of my best ones. These were FIDE-rated games and not crappy bullet games lol...

Ha I had that same mating pattern in a game...

Clearly I'm not on the level of the other people here, but here is a game against a guy who was rated 50 points higher than me at the beginning - and he calls himself "Trumpwinssss" so beating him this way was quite satisfying:
I don't know how to put the commentary into the computer chess thing there, so here is my commentary:
1. e4 c5 2. Bc4 is well known to be a bad way to deal with the Sicilian, but at my level we see it all the time so it's good to be ready with something like 2. ... e6 3. d3 d5 4. exd5 exd5 5. Bb3 Nf6. The bishop has had to move twice and Black has a better center than white, so things are looking good for Black.
Now some normal development from both sides: 6. Nf3 Nc6 7. Nc3 Be7 8. Bg5 Be6 9. Qd2 0-0 10. 0-0-0.
White's choice to castle queenside must be a mistake in this position. Black's queenside pawns are quite a bit ahead of White's kingside pawns. Also, White's own pieces on the kingside are blocking his pawn advances, while Black's pieces are in position to support his pawns from behind. I could be wrong about any of that, but... I felt good in the game and Stockfish is agreeing with me....
10. ... a6 11. a3 b5 12. Nb1 c4. From White's queenside castle until now, all of Black's moves have been offensive and all of White's moves have been solely defensive.
Later, when I'm finished gloating over this game, I will look for better moves than 12. ... c4. If White had exchanged queens and rooks - 13. dxc4 dxc4 14. Qxd8 Rf(or a)xd8 15. Rxd8 Rxd8 16. Ba2 - White would be in a cramped position, no doubt Black would be better, but from the POV of move 12 I'd guess that Black might have something more impressive.
Anyway, in the game, White opted not to surprise queens, which pleasantly surprised me. That is much more gallant behavior I expect from a proud Trump supporter.
13. dxc4 dxc4 14. Qf4 Qb6 15. Ba2
On the other hand, maybe he was just hoping I wouldn't notice the attack on my queen. Or he thought that his rook controlling the D-file would be a big deal. Anyway, unless 14. Qf4 counts as an offensive move, White still hasn't been able to make an offensive move since his decision to castle Queenside - and even if it does count, 14. ... Qb6 looks like a much more effective offensive move. It attacks c2, it supports the queenside pawn rush, and it even offers some support to Black's other pieces on the sixth rank.
With a microsecond of thought, Stockfish gave this position a score of -4.42. But then:
15. ... a5.
Stockfish hates this move, strongly preferring 15. ... b4, giving the line 16. Qe3 Bc5 17. Qf4 b3 18. cxb3 cxb3 19. Bxb3 Bxb3 20. Bxf6. Well... I better not comment....
16. h4 is White's first definitely offensive move since the queenside castle.
And now for the reason I've come here.... What's Black's next move?
16. ... Nb4!
Yeah! Trump vote that, &)(**#@S#$s!!!
To my very pleasant surprise, Stockfish likes this move.
I anticipated White accepting this and as far as I could see, it would probably not be a true sacrifice: 17. axb4 axb4 18. Bxc4 bxc4. I didn't think any further than that because my priority was to be sure the knight "sacrifice" didn't have some kind of flaw, and this looked like it would be pretty good.
White turned down the knight: 17. Nc3. It's fun to note that this knight's game has consisted of bouncing back and forth between the B1 and C3 squares. Now he gets to go to A2:
17. ... Nxa2+ 18. Nxa2 b4 19. Nd2
Now White is moving pieces away from attacking positions into defensive ones. I'm not sure that 19. Nd4 would be better, but it definitely looks stronger. White is playing shy. This is what I expect from a Trump voter. Now his knights do not look good, and of course he has to give up a pawn:
19. ... bxa3.
There are no good options now. Stockfish gives 20. Qe5 c3 21. b3 cxd2+ 22. Rxd2 Rfc8 (threatening ... Bxb3) 23. Rh3 Bxh3 24. Qxe7 Bxg2 which is no doubt a winning position for Black, up a rook with White's knight stuck on a2 and White's king still under heavy attack.
Anyway, White makes it easy: 20. bxa3? Bxa3#
I'd like all my games to look like this.

After 10.Nd5!? exd5! 11.Rxc4 dxc4, White has the advantage but Black is slightly ahead in material and the game is still a fight.

I'm very proud of this one. Pre-moved the mate in 2, looks like my opponent is in shock. Because she was 2 times online since then, but didn't move.

sorry for the lengthy annotations on that one

This is the fried liver attack. It is a good trap for black to use."
To what game are you referring to?
