I'm sorry, I know this is not a miniature, but it's one of the most beautiful games I've played recently, and this is the most popular game showcase thread, and I really wanted to share.

I got a chance to play, basically, a positional queen sacrifice, giving up a whole queen without a clear winning line, just for a continuing attack against an exposed king. Black defended decently, although not optimally, but I kept throwing pieces into the attack. In the final construction, white uses every one of the small number of remaining pieces (except the king) to build a mating net.
