Nice. In analogous positions, I've seen black try Qg5 after 4.Nxe5, with interesting, if mixed, results.
I ran into a line like this a few weeks ago. My opponent tricked me with the dubious Qh4 (instead of Qg5). I think I had an okay game until I got greedy. Then it got hilarious.......
^^ was all rootin' for that discovery and seeing mostly the same endgame in that king's gambit. good to finally see someone else playing it here

I was planning for more or less the same thing, only with the rook on h7
ANOTHER BDG in 10! Oh I needed these with my rating down over 100 points. The lower in ratings I'm forced to play, the worse my games seem to get. Maybe it's just throwing games because my frustration's compounding
an 18 move scandinavian (seems like ALL of my games today are both sides of it)
it's good to feel like I still know how to play SOME chess, even if I see I missed the simple pawn takes knight.

Here's a short 13 move win from a Bird-Larsen I played back in the 90s against a human player on-line. It was a slow game (30 minutes, 10 sec increment), where they blundered mate as can sometimes happen early in the game when the danger radar isn't functioning yet because one is thinking "it's too early for major threats just yet." A fianchettoed Bishop can be sneaky when that long diagonal is open.
I was SO steaming that " " wouldn't let me get a turn as white after a bad beat as black that was refused rematching, after the 3rd abort, I resigned a tennison gambit I otherwise might have wanted to play to get to THIS game, I'm glad, after the fact WASN'T a king's gambit or caro kann, but a smith morra where sicilians are still annoying to me

Liked the slav defense. Very nice. I don't understand moves like 9.Nxd7? when f4 is screaming to be played. Go figure.

Fantastic game! Don't know how people find stuff like this in bullet! I can't even watch bullet games...... I blink and it's all over!
Love the ending. Reminds of this game I saw a few years ago, and the checkmate looking like it came from out of nowhere!
