Very nice game, but wondering why 2...a6 gets a "!?" It's a pretty standard move.
2...a6 is definitely a sideline as it is only played in 1% of master games. If white plays 3.d4, black can play 3...exd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5 without white being able to play Nb5, which is why d4 is inaccurate. However, against 3.c3 or 3.c4 the move 2...a6 does not make much sense.

So 3.c3 is sort of the "anti-O'Kelly" system. Very good. Thanks for the info!

3.c4 is also a good line against it... see my game above to see a quick (transpositional) crush with it.
What's the elo that people won't lose in 9 moves
Apparently it's not 1600

NohJay,
This subject has been covered many times in this forum. Perhaps, if you have time, check out some of these posts.
A miniature is 25 moves or less. This standard has been the limit for decades, going back at least to the 1940s.
Some people want a longer limit so they can post their slightly longer games.
We’ve had people insist that they can quote IM and GMs who recognize these longer games as miniatures. But when pressed and asked for names, quotes, or other information, they cannot or will not provide this evidence. We can dismiss these superficial and misguided comments.
