Posting one of my losses for a lesson:

So this morning I decided to play a few games of chess, and the FIRST player I faced was using a chess engine. I didn't suspect it, but I did get tilted for losing. I got angry with myself and started playing poorly in subsequent games after this one. Now this by itself is not unusual, but what did surprise me was the account was 15 years old! This person went 15 years without cheating, and decides to start literally the same day I log in!

So the lesson here is try not to get too upset with yourself after a loss. There's always the possibility you'll find out later you were playing against a 3800 Elo engine most or all of the game.

Oops, didn't notice the account was closed earlier today before editing 😞

That said, discussions of cheating , potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums.
