I have a history of failed pawn sacrifices. Usually I get no compensation, lose a second pawn, and resign when it becomes obvious that I am about to lose a third pawn. In an OTB game this year, I lost a piece after a pawn sac and resigned after 11 moves. This time, however, my pawn sac weakened my opponent's king, and I wound up winning a miniature after he made a blunder. This was a 30+0 game played on this site. I have not done the computer analysis.
