I know there are plenty of ways out of this...i was just pretty proud that i saw it and since it really didn't hurt my delevopment to much i thought i would try.

I have only gotten one smothered mate and I often tried to look for them. Nice game.
Wonky play on your opponents part but good play by you.
Nice mate! However, as you said, there are many ways of getting out of that situation. Maybe not the most effective trap but good anyway!
