I enjoyed the final position on the board and think it's pretty. I like the mating net at the end too. If you're "too advanced" to appreciate the beauty, then you're too busy coaching grandmasters to post on my thread anyway. And since we're talking "sides", I'll help you put everything into context better; If you're not on my side then you're on the losing side by default.

Better to win one of these than to lose one...

No, Oran, you're wrong again. You just didn't like what I wrote. So rather than debate your contention on its own merit like a mature individual, you resorted to your petty default nature and argued the only way you know how...ad hominem.  It's the behavior you've learned so far in life. I was once twenty also young man and what is clear are the lessons you've yet to learn. That's a good thing though. You have plenty of time to get it all sorted. Didn't your father Rich raise you with any better manners than that?

So, there's a forum to show case games you're proud of, and peeps come in to bash others for using it?! Kinda shows who really is being idiotic.

Nice game

Somewhat underwhelmed by this game, I have to say. I think the headline is miles better than the actual content. Nice spin but substance is lacking here.

Scandinavian variations where the black queen gives check after Nc3 are patzer scandinavian IMO

The substance of the content is the computer played the scandinavian defense and got skinned alive down to a bare king then checkmated.

The content is as congruent to the thread title as it could possibly be.

Nothing to see after move 7, and NO you didnt "skin" the scandinavian.  You played a weak engine that hung a piece.  Dont get caught up in the word "hard"

Avatar of learningthemoves

YES I certainly did in fact "skin" the scandinavian that was played against me down to its king and plenty to enjoy after move 7. Don't get caught up in the false notion you can tell me to do anything. You'll only end up disappointed when you realize your powerlessness.

Having to play 35 more moves up a piece is not something i would brag about.

No one is interested in what you would or wouldn't brag about because it's off topic. Showcasing a game is not bragging. It's displaying it in a showcase.

Very true, but you did not "skin" the scandinavian.  You beat a weak engine that dropped a piece.

^ The pieces and pawns that surrounded the king like skin at the opening of the game opened with the scandinavian opening were all removed by the end of the game = To skin is to remove the skin. Even a weak engine could follow that logic. The depth of thought required to make the connection is not much more than skin deep.

WHAT level you say is that engine? )) A "novice", probably a " beginner " at the very best ... But what a pleasant feeling just to imagine "beating a computer", congratulations
