Chess was awful on both sides. Tactic was just great. After my 1500 games I still have to w8 for that pattern.

Simply downtune a bit. Play worse chess & create wonderful finishes

What, and miss out on a queen sac?
Mates are somewhat nicer-looking if there are no blockading pieces stocked next to the king. Plus, missing a mate in one is a sin that knows no equivalent :p
Heinzie: Agreed on the mate in one: then again, personally I prefer looking for the most efficient win in such positions. Still, I have to admit, it is difficult to pass up on a queen sac...
