The first time I had a working strategy

Hello everyone,

I just started playing chess, lost lots of offline games against the computer and played through several chess.com lessons. This game here against shredder on android configured with a low ELO was the first time a strategy worked for me:

I'm only just scratching the surface with openings and strategies. Is the strategy you used come from a particular opening? Looks like Ruy Lopez but with a delayed advancement from the king's bishop. I'm loving this site.

It is astonishing how bad that bot is at that level! Not finding a move to avoid mate on move 7 is the most striking example.
