Hard to say but after 9..Qd7 and c6 at some point I like black better. I suggest 6.Bxc6 instead which looks a lot more promising.

To be honest, I think he made a different move at this point. I'll ask him if he remembers much of the rest of the game. But yeah, after your suggested moves, Black does look solid.
black is better I can say.. you have a weak pawn chain

gives black a open B file..
@TheFancyKnight He refused both 9. c6 and 9. Qd7, after which I took the pawn, how does it look like now?
@BulgarianMachine It was a mistake playing 9. gxf3 on its own, but after a move 10. Qxb5 was played.
@The-Isolated_Pawn I did have an open g and e-file, which I thought got going for me... Is it still good for White?
Just trying to remodel a game of mine.
Try seeing who has the advantage... It would really help if someone could give some suggestions to improve my play.
