Thanks Franzdrake. Well here are the elements that i noticed before sacrificing:
1. Black king would be exposed (no pawn protection)
2. Possibility to bring all pieces towards the king for the kill (loads of lines opened) with this clear mindset: go forward
3. In the end, was sacrificing queen against rook, bishop and 1 pawn. So material is still balanced. I know this looks stupid, but that helped me a lot for taking the decision.

Not sure if my queen sacrifice was very brilliant or even sound...Found out that it was a nice way to keep the pressure on black king and initiative. Let me know if you think i had a best way to continue the game. Found this idea at the 16th move of this game and decided to go for Qh5. I do not think my opponent found the best defense either.

I know a woman who's just starting to play again who's TERRIFIED of simply TRADING queens even though sometimes, ya gotta trade for a pawn to stay in the game, so I can see how your first queen sac can feel like a rush.

what about Bc6+ Nxc6 Qxc2. Black did not have to capture
Yes, I know Black did not have to capture but your line exchanges a Bishop for a rook. My line wins a rook for free.
