Not every checkmate has a name, LYCAN! Only the clearly defined, such as Philidor's Mate, Boden's Mate, and the rare Tonydal's Mate.

... or is can be called 'A Bloody Good Mate' by LYCAN148

It is kind of arabian mate in the middle of the board. This is arabian mate:

However, we cannot call it arabian mate as the d4-pawn is requried, whereas it traditionally only needs rook and knight.

Yes, also the king is in different position than in arabian, which makes the mate possible and knight has to be protected. But if you want to call it somehow, I'd say it's a variation of the arabian - out of all named mates, I think arabian is the closest one.

If it is like an Arabian Mate but in the middle-of-the-board, then how about naming it after the Arabian nomads that might be found traveling in the middle-of-the-desert; to live and die there, with their prized horses ... a Bedouin Mate !? Smile

Noticed your other mate with N+/Q+/Q# too. Whether the final Q+ were given from Qxc5# or Qb6#, I doubt it has a name ?! Might be mistaken tho.

Another "Bedouin mate" pattern, from one of my games. Queen doesn't participate in mate, all empty squares around king are attacked by rook and knight, which is protected by the pawn on d4. Queen only pushed the king on the right square - d6 (opponent wasn't forced to move his king though).
