I see what you mean - but, as Anand says, "A bad bishop supports strong pawns." I thought it would be more important to keep my weak pawns protected with my bishop so that his queen wouldn't be able to break through my pawn structure.

i know this. he blundered to allow a passed pawn which was the winning tactic for you. i was speaking in general, looking at this lone game, the flaw in your game was allowing your bishop to become so poor (positionally). a stronger opponent would have prevented the breakthough and taken advantage of the knight vs. bishop imbalance. even when you win there are lessons to be learned. as i said looking at this lone game, that is the area that i saw you could improve. if you already knew this information, then it wasnt shown in this game. advise is all i offer. bottom line you did win.
