Worst blunders you’ve made?

I’ll start. I once was up 9 and thought there was no way my opponent could beat me since I was up so much. While I was focused on trying to take his pawns, he spent some moves setting up a mate. I was shocked when I saw I lost. (Props to my opponent tho for finding the mate) so what are your worst blinders?

Can resigning count as a blunder. I suppose it would be: 34: Resigns !?!? I’d been playing a daily game. We were deep into a close match. I studied and restudied my position. It was getting late. I finally decided my opponent had an inevitable 4-5 move checkmate. I resigned. The next morning I re-examined the game. I had overlooked a simple pawn move that would have saved my position. My opponent is probably still wondering what happened.

Forgot about en passant during a winning end game. Or getting lolli's mated after getting a second queen.

Resigning totally counts

Once I played against a 500 rated player and played e4 on the first move, and then I noticed his rating and went to abort, but right before I clicked, he moved and instead I clicked resign

😆 this is the funniest one I’ve seen so far. I bet he was so confused.

Lol yea this actually happened twice, I guess I'm just an unlucky person

I was playing the Vienna gambit(by far my favorite opening, fits my style so much) and my opponent accepted(in case you don't know, that is never good). My opponent did not want to retreat his knight and instead played Ng4, so I took his knight. Long story short, I didn't see the discovered attack.

Kapivarovskic

all of them

about to mate in one, but had to defend my king first and got checkmated

resigned on a winning position

missed mate in one and lost

hung a queen

a few days ago on a drunken tilt I fell for a variation of the scholars mate lol

ShaanThebest

Yeah i did one. Against jimmy-bot he offered me a rook and queen trade and back-rank mated me..

OOO can you send the game?

yuann

literally most of my lost games are simply embarrassing, pls don't look into my stats and see my losses pls.

marcossantana30

The game was very balanced but I had a small advantage in the end. I was 3-4 moves from mate. Then I miss clicked and gave my Queen away... to a f# pawn.

yuann

oof

@gregory9310

That’s not a blunder tho because you got to do en passant. If you get a chance to do en passant and don’t do it then you are lame.
