Recently, playing at an OTB team match, I was paired against someone much better than me. We play 2 games, 1 as white and 1 as black. I am not that good at online chess, and I am even worse at OTB due to the fact that I get psyched out easily. I got crushed in the first game, and i needed to get half a point so our team could move on. I didn't expect to win, so I went kamikaze as white...but I also admit that I had help from Black's terrible playing. Enjoy!

4. Bc4 cxb2 5. Bxb2 Would allow you bishops to put an uneasy amount of pressure on his king side. If they were to defend with Nf6 then e5 gets rid of that problem and black should be well aware of you dominant position for 2 pawns.

Precisely, 4. Bc4 instead of 4. Nf3 would be a standard Danish gambit, an opening I am very fond of, since it leads to very good development for White (if Black is unaware of how to defend against it). That is not kamizake, that is a half-nelson. :)

PS: And yeah, Black seemingly wanted to lose the game...go figure.

"By now he knew, we both knew, that it was going to take less than 60 moves and my opponent was about to suffer a humiliating defeat to someone which he should have ruthlessly crushed."

"humiliating defeat"? "ruthlessly crushed"?

I find such overheated language amusing, if silly. Kind of nerd-speak.
