I started facing this problem today, in daily chess. A few days ago, it said stuff like ‘Reti opening’, ‘King’s pawn opening’, etc. Now it says ‘Error detecting position’, so I cannot know the name of the opening I am playing. The position doesn’t have any ‘errors’ and is definitely correct. The same thing happens in live chess, too. I tried from Bongcloud to Sicilian opening and it still shows ‘error detecting position’. Anyone facing this problem too? 🤚 I hope this problem gets fixed!!

There was a time when I played a live chess game (not daily) and it didn't show the opening either. But instead, what was written was "Custom Position".

That’s not a glitch. You/your opponent probably started with more/less pieces

Today I just played the caro kann and after a few moves it said "error detecting position".
