Maybe they didn't like the position and decided not to play anymore.

or it was an accidental mouse slip OR he is a teenager and one of his annoying younger siblings pressed the resign button
In this position, white was down 0.6 points according to the analysis. White resigned after I captured a queen he could easily recapture. Why do people resign in equal positions?
