sorry for yapping but just because I'm a teen doesn't mean I cuss because I rarely cuss and I most of the time don't. but you have to just know when saying "da**" is bad. first of all, "da**" is a word that had the effects of "semantic satiation" put on it where the word is said so many times that it lost its original meaning behind it. there's so many people just passing the word around so much that it literally lost its original meaning. so calling it a cuss word would almost be false since you hear it in everyday talk. anyway, the word "da**" is only used badly when you put it in bad context. ik it doesn't sound like a shocker, but let me just tell you what its original meaning is. The word "da**" its original meaning was "curse you to he**" (if you consider that a bad word too lol). But you don't see people using it like that everyday do you? nowadays, the word is just a way of people expressing their feelings stronger and more open. they don't even use the word as its intended meaning, its just a filler word. for example: I hate that I get assigned so much "da**" homework everyday". if you want to know how it would be used correctly in that same format, this is another example: "I wish the homework da**ed" right, which is not how you see people using it. so you cant really say its a cuss word to that extent if the only time people are actually using the word "da**" is in literally only playful ways. of course other words like f*** and b**** are yk bad words to that extent but even those words can be used in playful ways and they are also quickly losing their meaning. sorry for yapping omg
