1. d4 & 1.c4 players, please help me (building an opening repertoire)

- 1.Nf3! can be countered with 1.e5! the Ross Gambit and then from there just take it to a Kings Pawn Opening : Kings Knight Variation and then to an Italian Game or to a Scotch Game
- 1.d4! can be countered with 1.c5! which is the Old Benoni Defence or 1.c6! and delaying d5 for as long as possible and just taking all the fun out of playing white or even playing 1.c6! and trying to transpose into a Slav Defence : Modern , Triangle System and then to a Semi-Slav Defence
- 1.c4! can just be countered with 1.b5! which is the Jaenisch Gambit and that just takes all the fun away from you're opponent
... Nf3 e5 is so bad...

look at the woman, oh gazelle..

You could economize by choosing a formation that can be played against any of White's common non-e4 openings, whether White plays 1. d4, or 1. c4, or 1. Nf3, or 1. g3...
Two possibilities immediately suggest themselves:
1) An Orthodox formation, which includes the moves Nf6 / e6 / d5 / Be7 / 0-0 and either c6 or c5 (perhaps with b6 and Bb7).
Or 2) A Fianchetto formation that includes the moves Nf6 / g6 / Bg7 / 0-0 / d6 along with either Nd7 or Nc6 and either c5 or e5.
