Well that isn't too true. I beat 2 2000s in bullet on time, and I purposely went for this so my opponent could waste some time:
White isn't even losing here, even if black takes the rook. I eventually won on time because he spent too much time thinking.
or if I ever get this position, they'll think for a while. It's a good way to waste time for your opponent.

the 50th percentile is 902 for bullet, so 1300 is above average, albeit kinda weak.
A 902 bullet rating means someone who can't even tie their own shoelaces, It is NOWHERE NEAR 50% of players. It's a false statistic based on factoring in many thousands of accounts in which the person never plays but only has a low default rating. I already explained this before yet you still can't understand, lol. I guess that explains why you struggle to get even a mediocre rating yourself!

Chess ability isn't always reflection of one's IQ. I was a struggling 900-rated player at one point. For quite a long time, actually. Now I'm 2200+.
Did my IQ increase tremendously over the years? Obviously not. Though I did learn a lot about chess through repetition, experimentation, and instruction.
There are many possible reasons to explain why some players are lower rated than others. For the majority of players, the explanation is simple: they treat chess as a mere diversion, and aren't really interested in trying to improve.
For others, the desire to improve is there, but the motivation to persist may be lacking.
Or perhaps they have the desire and the motivation, but they have poor study habits.
Or perhaps they have desire, motivation, and good study habits, but they're learning (or being taught) the wrong concepts and ideas.
The list can go on and on.
Ultimately, having a high rating (relatively speaking) is mostly a reflection of one's devotion and persistence with the game. It doesn't mean that you're brilliant: it just means that you've spent a hell of a lot of time and effort on the game, and learned to play well along the way.
CAN a player be both brilliant and excellent at chess? Of course. But one doesn't imply the other.
True, but IQ also has not all that much to do with brilliance either. Having all the horsepower in the world means nothing if there are no wheels on the car.
But really, whining about being flagged in one minute chess is an interesting way to spend time.
I just started messing with it maybe two weeks ago and that because it is easy to sneak in a game at work. Not to be taken seriously at my level. The only real effect it has had on my game is that now the 5 minute blitz games seem a lot longer, which is sort of nice.
Why would premove be frustrating? It's an essential part of fast games in online chess.
