Ok. Well to be honest I do believe that chess players are prone to mental illness due to the mind critical nature of the game.

There is no proven evidence chess causes mental or personality disorders. We do know anything in excess is harmful. And GMs specially super GMs and world champions play, study, think chess more than 8 hours a day.

That is a strong argument. However, there are links between creativity and mental illness. People like John Nash who got treated for mental illness later complained that they lost most of their creativity with their illness.

Among creative persons, many are bipolar (myself included). The mania episode give them the energy to explore, innovate, invent, discover others could not.

So yo´ve got 1770 of this "energy" @bong711?.. I do not have bipolar, and am close to that. You´ve been shafted. 😉

Chess is not the only talent. Arts, mathematics, computer science, etc are other outlets of creative energy.

Now that is readable!
For me...I would fall into a mixture of A/B categories, due to my low end of the spectrum Asperger's.
