Yes, and there are many, many more like him...

But this one is his. His pieces are his best friend. It is his life. He must master his pieces as he must master his life. Without him, his pieces are useless. Without his pieces, he is useless. He must develop his pieces true. He must play more efficiently than his enemy, who is trying to mate him. He must mate his enemy before the enemy mates him. He will. Before God he swears this creed: his pieces and himself are defenders of his side of the board, he is the master of his enemy, the pieces are the saviors of his life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but checkmate. Amen.

Once a player goes above 2000, they are autmatically checked for engine use & Cc has probaly da best detecters than any other Chess site!

There's no automatic checking, and they're very lax with cheaters, especially if they're paying members... As for the quality of the detection, there are some websites which are much better, but I can't name them here.

thegab03

My bad, I'm sure I read an artical in the Cheating Forum about autmated checking a year or so ago, I'll go & check it out, desolz mon ami, yo! Foot in Mouth

Time4Tea

Well, they catch dozens of cheaters per day, so their detection methods must be working to some extent.  I've experienced several players caught cheating whilst I've been playing them.  If you suspect this guy of cheating then by all means report him and Chess.com will check it out, although you might want to actually look at some of his games first, rather than just assuming he's cheating because of rating disparity.

I'd also be interested as to what the OP classes as 'vacation abuse'?  If he has vacation to use then surely he's entitled to use it?  Is using 2 days abuse?  1 week?  2 weeks?  Perhaps you should inform Chess.com of this change to the rules?

The big question is : Why haven't the mods closed this thread ?

thegab03

What's your price?

Eh .. Ah ... a few bitcoins ? A free win against the OP ?

Pashakviolino

I have already reported him to the chess.com staff. We will see what they say.

As for the price, I can send you via PM who is the dude I am accusing, and....I will do it for free!!!

Some of you can continue defending him finding excuses, "Oh maybe he is so nervous when he plays blitz", "oh maybe he just hates bullet", "Maybe this and maybe that".

As I stated before, someone that is a legit 2000 in long games is actually a pretty good player. And a player of that level will never have only 1100 at Blitz, no matter how nervous he can get or how slowly he moves his pieces, or how much he hates Blitz etc.

I would like a lot to watch some of his games in Bullet and Blitz to see what kind of moves he makes. I have not analyzed with a computer his games in long chess so I do not know how many coincidences he has with a software etc. but at first sight you can see that he is actually very very strong.

And someone as strong as that will not be a 1100 in Blitz, you can say whatever you want.

Sossitch

@Ziryab you are 450 points higher rated in online play than blitz! And 6 of your moves in your last game matched houdinis top choice! Guilty I say!

To me, that is very fishy. I know that obviously it is not the same thing to play a game knowing that you have just 1 minute and playing another one knowing that you have 5 days to think each move. But still, there can not be such a huge difference if the player is "clean".

Rubbish. I'm 2139 in online play at 3 days per move, and while I don't play Blitz, I would expect my Blitz rating to be about 1000 points lower.

I'm nearly 60, for Christ's sake.

If you have a look at the other threads the OP has posted in the forum , you will notice that he is on a personal vendetta. Whatever happens , his victim has to be killed.

I am seriously thinking about reporting the OP for slander. I never thought I would get to do such a low thing myself.

Why didn't the mods warn the OP and blocked this thread ? If they had done their job , I wouldn't  have to consider this.

alaaelmallah

yes what is the problem with that?

LOL have you read my other threads?

One was about funny stuff that sore losers have told to you. It was to laugh at people that lost the game and began insulting you and saying ridiculous stuff.

The other one was just asking why there are so many Philipinno players here? (It was only out of curiosity, I was not attacking them).

And the other thread was about the same guy I am talking here. And when did I said that anyone should be killed? LOL

So you can report me or do whatever you want. I don't care at all.

On the other side maybe you should be the one reported for basically saying that the moderators are incompetent and are not doing their job.

the site's strongest correspondence player has around 1000 points between blitz and online.

you going to "report" him? After all it's not possible that he just doesn't give two figs for chess.com ratings, is it?

That's true, but let's not forget there are 9M members here, ~1M active in live chess, and that it's very easy for cheaters to create a new account and come back the day after their ban...

There are many documented cases in the cheating forum of obvious cheats kicked only a couple of months after being reported. Alas, it's a very difficult fight...

What is the name of the strongest correspondance player? What is his ELO at correspondance and his ELO at blitz?
I can safely assume that if he plays Blitz regularly, then he is easily beyond 1100 points.

If someone give or not two figs about chess.com ratings is an absolutely different conversation, it has nothing to do with what is discussed here.

As for you pelly13, If I consider it to be neccesary, I will report you, so don't worry about that.

I am done with this thread. I reported that dude to chess.com and they will have the last word. It is a waste of time to discuss with people that genuinely believe that it is absolutely possible to play like a master in long games and play like a beginner in Blitz games.

I play with a touchpad, so I lose a lot of bullet I would normally have won.
