I think he was little bit lucky to be honest, he was coached by norway's best chess player, agdestein, and he was practicing a lot with the strong grandmaster jon ludvig hammer. Also he had a very supportive family that encouraged him to not always play chess and do other practical stuff, he is into sports and other interests as you might know. Yeah maybe he is natural talented but there are factors that can make you more than a grandmaster.

I will admit I would have to train for atleast a year, but yes I think I could beat Carlsen after playing just 10 games. Almost everyone reading this will laugh but that doesnt bother me because that just shows they dont believe in themselves and if you cant believe in yourself then really who can you believe in. One of my favorite quotes is "Are deepest fears are not that we are inadequate, are deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure, It is the light not our darkness that most frightens us".

I believe you 100%. You just have to train for 1,674 hours per day, and bang, mission accomplished.
