Kinda sad considering he was #1 for like a week after it came out..

You're a little late.

The top guy doesn't hack, he's a good player + has memorized a lot of the top puzzles. That's the way to get really high.

If they had enough puzzles that memorization wasn't useful then someone like Hikaru (or other FIDE top 10 player) would have the top spot.

#1 for a week?

More like however many months it's been until now. He was #1 for maybe 6 months.

@Danny Rensch mentioned in the commentary for the first Junior Speed Chess Championship Van Forrest v Tari that some people had been spending more than 35 hours per week on Puzzle Rush, which explains some of how much they've been able to memorise. He also mentioned that changes to the algorithm were in the pipeline to try and mitigate this.

The 105 score was a glitch, as after you reached a certain difficulty on puzzle rush(I think 70 or so), the problem pool was too small and there was only one problem at that difficulty, so Casper just repeatedly did that one problem over and over again until time ran out.

Afterwards, he did a 104 score without glitches, probably by memorizing.

That's a very logical response😑

Not a hacker, simply just memorized all the puzzles, well most of them any way,Hikaru said memorizing puzzles for him is useless, if anything it would worsen his play.

Glad to see that you're working on it!

I hear that after about 30 he knows all the puzzels.
