I believe you. Unlike many bot errors, overlooking Scholar’s mate is not unusual for human players rated 1100.

Powder & Eve Christmas Chess.com bots lose to Bird's opening every time.

yeah ik could be normal at times but 1100 is an intermediate **Bot** falling for scholars mate

1100 bots are weak beginners. 1100 humans are advanced beginners.

The bots' rating definitely aren't very accurate.

Even weak beginners won't fall for scholar's mate. I played against Martin bot, and he actually defended against scholars mate the way its recommended Whilst Sven defends by playing Nh6 and you could win almost instantly after that
