Also, Yifan started playing when she was 6. Magnus started playing when he was 8. If you do the math, that means Magnus has been playing one year longer, but his rating is over 200 points higher. Slacker indeed.
WGM Hou Yifan is the highest rated girl in the world (2557), and is currently one GM norm away from the GM title.
Magnus seems destined to be the undisputed strongest player in the world. When Hou or someone else can push him out they may then not be the slackers.
When Hou gets above 2700 (if ever) then we can see whether she can make a slacker out of Judit.

It was a way of putting a humorous slant on your defense of the male champion. You know the old chauvinist thing. It was meant to be light hearted not a toe tap in a stall.
Personally i think it's sweet how girls think they can play chess. Almost like real people.

Ms. Hou is a very strong player and her abilities are evidence of the growing strength of chess in China. Obviously she's not yet on Mr. Carlsen's level, but I for one am watching with interest as to what the next few years bring for her.
For one thing, I will be curious to see if she decides to go the route of Judit Polgar and only play in tournaments open to men and women.

The picture on Wikipedia shows one clear difference between Hou and Carlsen: Magnus has never been seen at a tournament sporting pink hair clips.
