I watched a few minutes. Super annoying animated lecture.

Did not explain the circumstances of the games in the first several minutes.

Your days of bullying the kids at school are long gone buddy, so try to channel your hate towards something a little more positive than putting down the amazing work of others, who, with all due respect, know far more than you.

Hater, grow up, do something you can be proud of instead of spreading your hate.

Just tell us where and when the match took place. Final score, etc. Assume it was bullet.

Ghost_Horse0

Even worse, was probably the phone app Play Magnus or something like that.

JavierGil

Read the heading when you watch a video. It says it was part 2. Part 1 is on the channel.

And stop commenting on my posts. Bullies and haters are banned from my list.

I read the heading. It says little. I don't think it would kill you to do an intro.

I am sorry I said I didn't like the graphics. It was just my reaction. It seemed unnatural. The lecture was fine. I just didn't like the animation.

First of all, not all criticism is bullying. Second of all, you have shot yourself in the foot by demonstrating how upset and offended you get when you feel bullied, which is exactly what an online bully enjoys seeing in the response to their actions. Lastly, I also thoroughly dislike the animation and would recommend more appropriate preface info.

@Bulldogg9098 well said!

Part 1 didn't tell us the time control, the location (or website) the date, the overall score (was it 24 wins vs 100?) or anything else.

There are a lot of trolls who post nonsense on the forums, so a title like this is going to cause a lot of skepticism. Probably you thought the title would make people excited, but at least in my case it makes me disinterested. If the video (or your forum post) began with all the facts it would be more interesting to me, and make me want to watch the video.

Just letting you know.

It was elsewhere on January 7th. The final score was 41-30 for Magnus.

Firouzja had a nice blitz win against Nakamura, too.

Not all criticism is bullying, but when I get messages from GMs congratulating me on a video, or people asking about variations, openings and other things, I can tell they're true chess players. If all you can do after watching a 29 minutes tutorial is put down the video because you can only focus on the talking head and make zero possitive comments, it's quite evident that you too are a troll!

As for shooting myself on the foot, not really, quite the opposite. It's precisely bullies like you that increase the number of answers to a post and make it more popular. Sad, but true, so I have to thank you. Cheers buddy. wink.png

Part 1 didn't tell you the time control nor the location? really?? I spent like the first 3 minutes of the video talking about the other site, talking about bullet chess (1 minute chess). Just what video did you watch, mate??  Not to mention the disclaimer at the end of the video.

Well, here's the thing. @notmtwain is not a troll. He's actually a really nice and helpful guy, almost like a moderator.

JavierGil

Well, perhaps he's not a troll, but he's definitely someone who doesn't think things over before writing them. His reply was pretty much in the line of the other bullies. I've posted over 50 videos on youtube, all of them use pretty much the same talking head, same style. Everyone's entitled to an opinion about the creative aspect of a video, but when all he can point out is just negative comments, then I have to question how nice and helpful he is, to be honest!

Sure, I understand that some people don't like something about my video. I've got a video course at Udemy, free, over 2600 students, with a rating of 4.2/5. Exactly the same style, people from more than 115 different countries. Then the first 4 comments here, all hateful, not a single possitive thing, all American... Is this a US thing or something, to put down the creative efforts of people who just want to share? I know the country is currently in a "national emergency", but maybe things aren't as bad as "some" would want you to believe happy.png, calm down, take it easy people.

Wow! happy.png

I'm sorry for all the negative feedback, but chess.com can be like that sometimes frustrated.png

Wow!

I apologize for saying things in a terse manner but I was frustrated after having spent five minutes watching your video and having not found the who, what, where, when basics.    I wanted to warn people not to waste their time on what I took to be an amateur video.  There's nothing identifying you, an international master, as the author or the talking head.

Nobody made hateful comments.  I think you are a little too sensitive and hope you will consider making adjustments in the future.   A few basic comments in the description. A link to part 1 if there is a part 1 and so on.

If you say people like the talking heads, I guess I have to believe it. I find it hard to watch.

I will ignore the rude bombs you are launching in this direction.

I think this has gone a little off topic. This is now discussing who is a troll or bully. @notmtwain Be a little less blunt and give a positive twist on negative word. Ex: The content is very instructive, but you could make it better by improving the animations. This would be better received. @JavierGil You responded in not the right tone. While notmtwain may have started it, you added fuel to the fire and continued a pointless argument. Think before you act.
