Based on your playing, reading and others' opinion what do you think is better and why?

And by the way,in Greek as well as in many languages,we use the word "tower".Where does the word "rook" come from?

if rooks are not connected and there is an  exposed king, the queen can check and win one rook. if the rooks are connected, i think that's a tie

"The word rook that means 'a bird of the crow family' comes from an Old English word that stems from a Germanic root; cognates are found in several of the Germanic languages. It is unrelated to the word rook meaning 'a chess piece that can move any number of unobstructed squares horizontally or vertically', which comes from Persian, by way of Arabic and Middle French"

two rooks are usually better than a queen, i think.  I think if the opposing king is weak then maybe a queen can be better, and probably it's also better if there are no open files.

oh yeah, and the rook in chess comes from 'rokh' meaning 'chariot' i believe.
