2 vs 1?

There are 3 of us in my workplace who regularly place each other on chess.com. My colleague is easily better than me and my other colleague. We were wondering if it's possible to set up a kind of vote chess where the lesser two combine powers to take on the best player. We'd all knowingly undertake this.

just go to your colleague's computer :)

Play to a longer time limit (3 days?) with one of you signed up to play. You can easily analyse any game that a friend of yours is playing and the junior partner can email or IM the actual player.

What you are talking about is actually kind of cheating. Just study chess instead of being helped by a colleague. Play rapid games, analyse them, solve puzzles, study games of old masters (Morphy, Anderssen, Blackburne etc)
