District II bet Khen Jakosalem and District V Gilbert Berongoy both scores 14 points at the end of the 2018 Manila Division Meet High School Boys Division to makes it to the 2018 Palarong Maynila set on November 12-16 2018. Jakosalem , a grade 9 student of F.G. Calderon High School took the title after the the winner over the other tie break. Jakosalem defeated Gilbert Berongoy in the 4th round by a 2: 1 score, winning the standard event while Berongoy won in the 5-minutes blitz game. Winning coach is Trely Ann Baltazar of F.G. Calderon High School .
