Yes. We encountered the almost identical thing at an event in Lake Oswego, Oregon. They are called infiltrators. They look the part, they dress the part, they act the part. Their only purpose is deceit, instigation, and disruption. They pretend to support a cause or person, then intentionally do or say offensive things in order to make "the other side" look bad. A teacher in Hillsboro got busted for doing exact same thing.

I thought you had the freedom to express political opinion in the USA. Just because they don't agree with you, gives you no right to censor them.

To whoever it may concern - please stop referring to Democrats as "liberals" - the modern Democrat party is not liberal in any way. 

I can respect "old" Democrats like Bill Clinton (his policies, not his "personal exploits"), but the new Democrat party has no moderation, no common sense, and is just driven by an intense hatred for the current administration.

A powerful central government redistributing wealth and rights at a whim and because it is "right" or "moral" (in their opinion) is the furthest thing from liberal.

This is typical, unless you have some evidence to put forward that shows these chess players are in fact neo nazis then the OP is just another bitter  person with an extreme case of TDS . To have the gall to come into a chess site and start labeling players as nazis is nothing short of ridiculous. We are here to play chess, if you insist on bringing politics into your games then you will of course meet people who are on the other side of the isle, if you don’t like it then don’t chat with your opponent. 

I agree. What he encountered isn't new though. Seeing it firsthand I had a new understanding to how low some people can stoop. They pretend to be part of a group or cause, then intentionally do offensive things, trying to make that cause look bad. I suppose it can be related to chess though. It's a tactic, strategy maybe. In chess deceit and distraction can be a winning ploy. A queen sacrifice, in order to win the game is deception. Someone pretending to like someone else, like the OP encountered, is also a sacrifice. They are sacrificing their dignity for the greater goal of making the other side look bad.
