I want to play, but I am too low-rated.
90 or 60 min game anyone?

my question also is how long do people spend on opening middle game etc.
If that’s what you need to know I can just take a few pictures of my otb games (I keep track of time)
Sure

1479 meh not rlly
Excuse me? I am 1500. Just tilted. lol 1500 is pretty low.

whats ur uscf rating
Unrated, that’s why imma get good and go in the u1500 or u1200 section or something (lowest section that has da $)

Most I do on chess.com is 30. Now I mainly do 10 min. Unless it is tournament game, there is absolutely no way I would have such patience.
haha 100% understandable maybe a 30 minute game?
My problem is I can not find many 2000+ players in 30 min. which is why I like 10 min.
Yes this is true
If I have time, maybe I'll challenge you to unrated or rated 15|10. Sometimes the solution isn't playing more games, but understanding why you lost. Maybe spend more time analyzing your games than playing

100% after each game I analyze it myself write notes and such then double check with computer some ideas go over the mistakes. Look at the 7 move tactic I missed lul. (There literally was a 6 move tactic I missed the other day… 0 chance any human sees that)

Maybe you're analyzing it wrong. You will never have the same position again. What you should learn from it is a general idea, like a tactical strategy or an endgame pattern.

Just saying ahead of time I don't usually play long controls and often overthink simple moves so yeaaaaaa
I only play long time controls in OTB tournaments, somehow during them, a game that lasted 4 hours seemed nothing to me.

Very true I definitely could be. What I do is 1: look for mistakes in openings or inaccuracies. Perfect that memorize best moves or the variations that I like. Second go through look for any mistakes I made just note them and make a note not to do that again lol. End game… wel… yeah…

In OTB I usually get my crap together because it is scarier when you see the person who you may potentially know in front of your face, so I take it a lot more seriously (also so my reputation doesn't die) But I haven't played OTB in two years, and I was last rated 1055/1019 sooo...
lol

This is so me… I spent 2 minutes in a ten minute game trying to look at all these combinations and later o got flagged… it was so simple what I neede to do

You can't memorize an opening setup, every single position is different. If you only memorize the main line, what if your opponent doesn't play it? It's hard to remember every line perfectly from a master game, instead learn ideas as I said. For example, in the sicillian, the general idea is f3 followed with h4 and g4, storming the kingside.
Also ur old pfp was better @trophies100
D: I havent changed it in like 5 years
